It is in 1901 that Debahy started as a local importer and distributor of food products in Syria and Lebanon. Through the years and generations, Debahy Group has developed its activities and markets and is today one of the major brokerage and trading company in the Middle East. Based in Beirut, known as the front door of the Middle East, we are specialized in all kind of grains, cereals, pulses and other food stuff as well as metal products and fertilizers.

In addition to international trading of commodities, Debahy Group is also very active in the management of other companies in diversified fields like Shipping, Real Estate, Telecoms and Finance.

The Chairman of Debahy Group, Mr. Elie Debahy, was appointed as Honorary Consul General of the Union of Myanmar in Lebanon on the 23rd of November 1997. Since then the consulate operates in Debahy building in Sin el Fil.
